Recruiting the wrong people will have a massive impact


Salespeople are the engine which drives business. As Zig Ziglar the motivational speaker and sales trainer says, ‘nothing happens until someone sells something’. We know this to be true, but most businesses still struggle to find sales people who can deliver results.

Recruiting experience isn’t the answer, as salespeople have got wise to their market value and ‘check’ companies out, before they make any real commitment to work for them, taking the big salary and guarantee and moving on.

Traditional recruitment advertising doesn’t attract the successful, well motivated and driven candidates you want. No, it attracts the best of the failing, unhappy and unemployed. This results in a pool of mediocre candidates to select from.

If you use a traditional recruitment agency then you will be taking all the risk of hiring. You do the interviews, pay the salaries, buy the training and invest in managing your people but recruitment agents only offer a steeply sliding scale of reducing refunds.
