As a Sales or Business Development Executive, your role is to sell products or solutions to your client base. This will likely be telephone based contact but often progresses to face to face selling through meetings with potential and existing clients.


By contacting new and existing clients a Sales (or Business Development) Executive’s aim is to increase revenue for the company, and therefore increase your earnings through commission.


Business Development has a focus on bringing new clients on board; Sales Executives can also be involved in business development but can also have elements of account management and up selling to existing clients.
